Location and removal of the Renault Scenic automatic transmission control unit

Location:

* Under the hood, near the engine shield
* On the automatic transmission unit

Tools required for dismantling:

* Set of socket wrenches or wrenches
* Flat head screwdriver
* Rags

Dismantling steps:

1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Locate the automatic transmission control unit on the automatic transmission unit or on the engine panel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors by releasing the clips.
4. Unscrew the bolts or nuts securing the control unit to the automatic transmission or engine shield.
5. Carefully remove the control unit.

Note:

* When disconnecting electrical connectors, do not pull on the wires.
*Fixing bolts or nuts may vary in size, so use the appropriate tools.
* Be careful not to damage the control unit or electrical connectors.

Installation:

1. Reinstall the control unit and tighten the mounting bolts or nuts.
2. Connect the electrical connectors by pressing the latches.
3. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
