Skills and Qualifications:
* High level of skill in working with automotive electrical systems: Diagnose, repair and replace electronic components, including wires, fuses, relays and control modules.
* Knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and electronic systems operating principles: Ability to read schematics and interpret technical data.
* Skills in using diagnostic equipment: Scanners, multimeters and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting.
* Understanding of computer networks and communication protocols: CAN, LIN and other networks used in cars.
* Knowledge of automotive safety and lighting systems: Air bags, anti-lock brakes and lighting systems.
* Troubleshooting Skills: Systematic approach to diagnosis and repair, attention to detail.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Adheres to industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Electronic Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshooting electrical systems including starters, alternators, batteries and lighting.
* Electrical Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Installation and replacement of batteries, starters, generators and other electronic components.
* Maintenance of multimedia and communication systems: Installation, configuration and repair of GPS systems, stereo systems and other devices for comfort.
* Monitoring and maintaining power systems: Ensuring uninterrupted power supply, testing batteries and checking ground connections.
* Performing maintenance and preventive work: Checking wires, connectors and fuses, replacing light bulbs, cleaning contacts.
* Customer training and consultation: Explaining electrical system problems and recommending solutions, providing maintenance advice.
*Safety Practices: Follow safety procedures, wear protective equipment, and use proper tools and techniques.
Education and Experience:
* Diploma or certificate in Automotive Electrical Engineering or related qualification.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a car electrical technician.
*Experience with specific makes and models of vehicles preferred.
