Automatic transmission pan Audi Q5
Tightening torque:
* Transmission pan bolts: 9 Nm (6.6 ft-lb)
* Transmission pan studs: 11 Nm (8.1 ft-lb)
Tightening order:
1. Clean the surface of the seal and pan from gasket residues.
2. Apply sealant to the new gasket.
3. Install the gasket on the automatic transmission pan.
4. Install the pan bolts and studs and hand-tighten them.
5. Tighten the bolts and studs in a crisscross pattern to the specified torque.
6. Allow the sealant to dry according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
