Method 2: manual reset (for some KIA Sid models)

1. Turn on the ignition and warm up the engine to operating temperature.
2. Shift the gear selector to the “P” (park) position.
3. Press and hold the brake pedal.
4. Quickly shift the gear selector in the following sequence:

– P (Parking)
– R (Reverse)
– N (Neutral)
– D (Drive)
– 2 (Second gear)

– P (Parking)

5. Release the brake pedal.
6. Turn off the ignition.

Note:

* The delay time between gear changes should be about 2 seconds.

* Adaptation of the automatic transmission takes some time to fully adapt to your driving style. It is recommended to operate the vehicle smoothly for several days after the reset.
