Removing the automatic transmission handle Opel Zafira

Tools:

* Flathead screwdriver or plastic spatula for prying

Steps:

1. Place the automatic transmission in park mode (P).
2. Find the automatic transmission handle release button on the base of the handle. It is usually located next to or below the gear selector. Press and hold the button.
3. Pull the automatic transmission handle up and disconnect it from the base.
4. If the handle does not come off, try prying it off with a flathead screwdriver or plastic spatula.
5. Remove the automatic transmission handle completely.

Adviсe:

*If the handle is too tight, you can use a little WD-40 or other lubricant to make it easier to remove.
* Be careful not to damage the unlock button or other components.
* When installing a new handle, make sure it is securely locked in place.
* Replace the unlock button as necessary if it is damaged or does not function properly.
