Gear selector automatic transmission Renault Sandero

The Renault Sandero automatic transmission gear selector has the following positions:

| Position | Designation | Description |
|—|—|—|
| P | Parking | Locks the transmission to prevent the vehicle from moving. |
| R | Reverse | Puts the transmission into reverse mode. |
| N | Neutral | Disengages the transmission, allowing the vehicle to roll freely. |
| D | Movement | Automatically changes gears when moving forward. |
| M | Manual mode | Allows you to manually change gears. |

Shifting gears

To change automatic transmission gears, follow these steps:

1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear selector to the desired position.

Note:

* To change gears from P or R to D or M, you may need to first shift to N.
* To shift into Manual (M) mode, press the shift button on the side of the selector and move it up (+) or down (-) to change gears.
* When changing gears, do not press or pull the selector too hard.
*If the gear selector is stuck, you may need to reset the lock using the lock key located under the plastic cover on the center console.
