Chevrolet Cruze automatic transmission valve body repair manual
Required tools and materials:
* Screwdriver set
* Wrenches
* Automatic transmission oil
* Automatic transmission filter
* Valve block seals
* Cleaner
Instructions:
1. Preparing the car:
* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Block the wheels.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Removing the valve body:
* Remove the automatic transmission drain plug and drain the oil.
* Disconnect the harness connectors and valve body solenoids.
* Unscrew the valve body mounting bolts.
* Gently pull the valve body down to remove it from the automatic transmission housing.
3. Disassembling the valve body:

5. Valve block assembly:

* Reassemble the valve body in the reverse order of disassembly.

6. Installation of the hydraulic unit:
* Install the valve body on the automatic transmission housing.
* Tighten the mounting bolts.
* Connect the wiring harness and solenoid connectors.
7. Filling oil and installing filter:
* Pour new automatic transmission oil into the automatic transmission crankcase.
* Install a new automatic transmission filter.
8. Bleeding the system:
* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
* Shift the gear selector to each position and hold it there for a few seconds.
* Repeat the process until the automatic transmission oil level stabilizes.
9. Checking the oil level:
* Check the automatic transmission oil level on the dipstick.
*Adjust the oil level if necessary.
10. Testing:
* Drive the car in various conditions to ensure proper operation of the automatic transmission.
* Check for oil leaks and abnormal noises.
