Automatic transmission rubber seal ring

Purpose:

* Sealing of joints and connections inside an automatic transmission (automatic transmission)
* Prevent oil, transmission fluid and air leaks

Design:

*Made from oil-resistant rubber (such as nitrile, fluoroelastomer or silicone)
* Round shape with circular cross section
* May have different diameters and thicknesses depending on specific application

Functions:

* Creates an airtight seal between metal surfaces
* Prevents dirt, dust and moisture from entering the automatic transmission
* Ensures long service life and reliable operation of the transmission

Types:

There are several types of automatic transmission rubber o-rings, including:

*Single O-rings: The simplest type, consisting of a single ring.
* Quad-Ring: Four-piece ring that provides a more reliable seal.
* Viton O-rings: Made from fluoroelastomer (FKM) for added oil and chemical resistance.

Replacement:

Rubber automatic transmission o-rings can wear out and crack over time, leading to leaks. They must be checked regularly and replaced if necessary. Replacement should usually be performed by a qualified mechanic.

Peculiarities:

* Resistant to high temperatures and aggressive liquids
*Elasticity and flexibility for a reliable seal
* Low coefficient of friction, which minimizes wear
