Suzuki Grand Vitara automatic transmission modes:

P (Parking):
* Locks the gearbox, providing parking mode.

R (Reverse):

N (Neutral):

3 (Third):

1 (First):
* Fixed gear, in which the car uses only first gear.
* Provides maximum torque and vehicle control.
*Used for driving on very steep slopes, overcoming deep snow or rough terrain.
