Location:

* Underneath the vehicle, attached to the transmission oil pan.

Required tools:

* Jack and stands
* 14 mm socket wrench
* New pan gasket (09131-10011)
* New gear oil (volume depends on year and model)
* Funnel

Instructions:

1. Place the vehicle on stands: Raise the vehicle using a jack and place it securely on stands.
2. Drain the oil: Unscrew the automatic transmission pan drain plug using a 14 mm wrench. Wait until all the oil drains into the prepared pan.
3. Remove the automatic transmission pan: Unscrew the pan mounting bolts using a 14 mm wrench and carefully disconnect it from the gearbox. Be careful not to damage the gasket.
4. Replace the filter: Remove the old filter from the pan. Clean the seating surface and install a new filter.
5. Install Gasket: Apply a thin layer of transmission sealant to the new gasket and install it to the pan.
6. Install the pan: Attach the pan to the transmission with bolts. Tighten the bolts in the order specified in the repair manual.
7. Fill the oil: Fill the gearbox with the recommended amount of gear oil. Use a funnel to prevent overflow.
8. Check the oil level: Start the engine and let it idle. Check the oil level using the automatic transmission dipstick. Add oil if necessary.
9. Lower the vehicle: Lower the vehicle to the ground, remove the stands, and tighten the drain plug.
