Checking the automatic transmission oil level:
1. Remove the dipstick.
2. Check the oil level. The oil spot on the dipstick should be between the “HOT” (hot) and “COLD” (cold) marks.
3. If the oil level is low, add oil through the dipstick hole. Use only ATF fluid recommended for your vehicle.
4. Check the oil level again to make sure it is at the correct level.
Note: It is recommended to check the automatic transmission oil level regularly, for example every 3-6 months. Low automatic transmission oil levels can cause damage to the transmission.
