Location of automatic transmission oil level dipstick in Chrysler 300C
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Place the gear shift lever in the Park (P) position.
3. Open the hood.
4. Find the automatic transmission oil level dipstick. It is usually located at the rear of the engine, near the right (passenger) side.
5. The dipstick has a red or yellow handle and a label that says “ATF” or “Transmission Fluid”.
Note:
* Do not confuse the automatic transmission oil level dipstick with the engine oil level dipstick.
* The automatic transmission oil dipstick usually has a square or hexagonal handle, while the engine oil dipstick usually has a round handle.
