Location of automatic transmission horn for Toyota Corolla 120 body:

1. Open the hood and find the engine.
2. The automatic transmission dipstick is located on the left side of the engine, next to the engine oil dipstick.
3. The automatic transmission dipstick has a red handle and a plastic expansion tank.

Procedure for checking the automatic transmission fluid level:

1. Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and idling in Park (P).
2. Pull the automatic transmission dipstick out of the reservoir.
3. Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth.
4. Insert the dipstick back into the reservoir, but do not screw it in.
5. Pull the dipstick out again and check the fluid level.

The automatic transmission fluid level should be:

* Between the “COLD” and “HOT” marks on the dipstick if the engine is cold.
* At the “HOT” mark if the engine has been idling for several minutes.

If the automatic transmission fluid level is below the recommended value:

1. Add fluid through the dipstick hole using a funnel.
2. Use automatic transmission fluid recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Check the fluid level again and add if necessary.

If the automatic transmission fluid level is higher than the recommended value:

1. Remove excess fluid using a syringe or pump through the dipstick hole.
2. Check the fluid level again and remove excess if necessary.

Note:

* Do not overfill automatic transmission fluid, as this can lead to aeration and other problems.
* Check the automatic transmission fluid level regularly, especially before driving or after traction.
* Replace automatic transmission fluid according to the recommendations in the owner’s manual.
