Location of automatic transmission speed sensor in Nissan Vingroad
1. Open the hood and find the automatic transmission.
2. The speed sensor is usually located on the rear of the transmission, near the drive shafts.
3. The sensor is a small plastic component with an electrical connector.
Replacing the automatic transmission speed sensor
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Raise the car on a lift or install jacks with protective supports under the bottom of the car.
3. Find the automatic transmission speed sensor.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
5. Remove the speed sensor bolt.
6. Remove the old speed sensor from the transmission.
7. Insert the new speed sensor into the transmission.
8. Tighten the speed sensor bolt.
9. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
10. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
11. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
12. Start the engine and check the operation of the automatic transmission speed sensor.
