Rules for using automatic transmission

Starting the engine:

*Press the brake pedal.
* Move the gear shift lever to the “P” (Park) position.
* Turn the ignition key to start the engine.

Gear shift:

* Stop the car.
*Press the brake pedal and do not release it.
* Move the gear shift lever to the desired position:
* “D” (Driving): normal driving
* “N” (Neutral): Hold the vehicle when it is not moving
* “P” (Parking): Keep the car in place when parking
* “R” (Reverse): reversing
* Release the brake pedal to start the car moving.

Stopping the car:

*Press the brake pedal and stop the car.
* Move the gear shift lever to the “P” (Park) position.
* Turn off the engine.

Safe driving habits:

* Always wear your seat belt.
* Do not shift into “P” (Park) while driving as this may damage the transmission.
* Do not use N (Neutral) mode when driving on a slope, as this may cause you to lose control of the vehicle.
* Do not shift into “R” (Reverse) while the vehicle is moving forward, as this may damage the transmission.
* Do not keep your foot on the brake pedal during long stops as this may overheat the brakes. Use the parking brake instead.

Service:

* Check the transmission fluid level regularly and add it if necessary.
* Replace transmission fluid according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Have regular maintenance to ensure proper transmission operation.
