Automatic transmission selector illumination on Nissan X-Trail T31

Required materials:

* LED lamps T10 or W5W (quantity depends on X-Trail T31 model)
* Flathead screwdriver or plastic tool for removing trim
* New lenses for shift panel (if needed)

Instructions:

1. Remove the automatic transmission selector housing: Use a flathead screwdriver or plastic tool to carefully pry and remove the automatic transmission selector housing. Depending on the X-Trail T31 model, there may be additional screws or latches that need to be removed.

2. Disconnect the backlight connector: Find the connector that is connected to the automatic transmission selector backlight lamp. Carefully disconnect the connector.

3. Replace the lamp: Remove the old lamp from the holder. Insert the new LED bulb into the holder, making sure it is oriented correctly.

4. Connect the connector: Connect the connector back to the backlight.

5. Install the lens: If you are also replacing the lenses on the shift panel, carefully remove the old lenses and install the new ones.

6. Reinstall the automatic transmission selector housing: Carefully reinstall the automatic transmission selector housing, making sure that all latches or screws are securely fastened.

Adviсe:

*Use LED bulbs for better brightness and longer life.
*Remove the battery before operating to ensure safety.
* If the backlight does not work after replacing the lamp, check that the connector is connected correctly and there are no blown fuses.
*Different Nissan X-Trail T31 models may have different lens color options such as white, red or blue.
