Basic mode designations

* P (Park): Parks the vehicle by locking the drive wheels.
* R (Reverse): Shifts into reverse.
* N (Neutral): Neutral position, the transmission is not engaged, the vehicle can roll freely.
* D (Drive): Standard driving mode for automatic transmission. The car automatically switches to the appropriate gears depending on the speed and load.

Additional mode designations

Sports modes:

* S (Sport): Activates a sportier transmission setting, providing faster and sharper gear changes.
* M (Manual): Allows the driver to manually change gears using the steering wheel paddles or gear selector.

Fuel saving modes:

* E (Eco): Activates fuel saving mode, optimizing gear changes and smooth acceleration.
* L (Low): Use in off-road conditions or when driving at low speeds. Can also be used for engine braking on steep descents.

Modes for specific situations:

* W (Winter): Optimizes transmission performance for driving on slippery roads.
* B (Brake): Activates engine braking when the accelerator pedal is released, providing additional braking power.
* Hill Hold (H): Holds the vehicle in place on inclines when starting off to prevent rolling backwards.

Other designations:

* Tiptronic: A gearshift mode similar to manual mode (M), but with the ability to automatically change gears if the driver does not take any action.
* CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission): A type of automatic transmission that provides smooth and continuous gear changes.
* AWD (All-Wheel Drive): Indicates that the vehicle has an all-wheel drive system.
