OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CAR REPAIR ELECTRICIAN
1. General safety requirements
1.1. Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination in the prescribed manner, have the appropriate qualifications, and have undergone training and knowledge testing on labor protection are allowed to work as an electrician in car repairs.
1.2. A car repair electrician must:
* comply with internal labor regulations and the established work and rest schedule;
* perform only the work that is assigned by the immediate supervisor and for which instructions on labor protection have been completed;
* comply with safety requirements when operating electrical equipment, power tools and personal protective equipment;
* be able to provide first aid in case of accidents;
* know escape routes and locations of primary fire extinguishing equipment.
1.3. An automobile repair electrician may be exposed to the following dangerous and harmful production factors:
* increased voltage in the electrical circuit;
* moving and rotating mechanisms;
* increased level of noise and vibration;
* falling objects;
* dust and toxic substances in the air of the working area;
* fire hazard.
1.4. A car repair electrician is provided with the following personal protective equipment:
* cotton overalls;
* leather boots;
* dielectric gloves;
* safety glasses;
* construction helmet;
* first aid kit.
1.5. The workplace of an electrician for car repairs must be organized in accordance with safety requirements and kept clean and tidy.
1.6. Electrical equipment and power tools used by an auto repair electrician must be in good working order and have a valid test date.
1.7. When working at height, an automotive repair electrician must wear personal fall protection equipment.
1.8. If faults are detected in electrical equipment or power tools, as well as if a dangerous situation arises, the car repair electrician is obliged to immediately stop work and report this to his immediate supervisor.
2. Safety requirements before starting work
2.1. Before starting work, a car repair electrician must:
* wear appropriate personal protective equipment;
* check the serviceability of the electrical equipment, power tools and personal protective equipment used;
* inspect the workplace and make sure it complies with safety requirements;
* receive instructions from your immediate supervisor on safe methods of performing work.
3. Safety requirements during operation
3.1. While working, a car repair electrician must comply with the following safety requirements:
* work only on serviceable electrical equipment and power tools;
* use electrical equipment and power tools in accordance with their purpose and operating instructions;
* use the necessary means of protection against electric shock;
* do not touch live parts and bare wires with your hands;
* do not carry out any work on electrical equipment that is energized;
* do not allow water to come into contact with electrical equipment;
* do not use faulty or homemade carriers and extension cords;
* do not work at heights without personal protective equipment against falls from height;
* do not disassemble or move electrical installations and electrical equipment without an order or order;
* do not work alone in electrical installations with voltages above 36 V;
* do not enter premises with electrical equipment without the permission of the person in charge.
4. Safety requirements in emergency situations
4.1. In the event of an emergency (fire, electric shock, injury), the car repair electrician is obliged to immediately stop work, take measures to eliminate the accident and provide first aid to the victim, report this directly to the supervisor and act in accordance with his instructions.
4.2. In the event of a fire, a car repair electrician is obliged to use primary fire extinguishing means and, if necessary, evacuate from the premises in accordance with the evacuation plan.
4.3. In case of electric shock, a car repair electrician is obliged to immediately release the victim from the effects of the current and provide first aid.
5. Safety requirements after completion of work
5.1. At the end of the work, the car repair electrician must:
* disconnect used electrical equipment and power tools from the power supply;
* tidy up the workplace, remove used materials and tools;
* remove personal protective equipment and place them in the designated place;
* report to the immediate supervisor about the work performed and problems identified during the work.
