Required tools and materials:

* Wrench set
* Screwdriver set
* Torque converter puller
* Container for draining liquid
* New oil pan gasket
* New automatic transmission oil

Steps:

1. Preparation

* Make sure that the vehicle is on a level surface and that wheel chocks are installed under the rear wheels.
* Disconnect the battery.
* Drain the automatic transmission fluid into a container.

2. Removing the automatic transmission

* Disconnect the electrical wiring connector from the gearbox.
* Disconnect the shift cables.
* Remove the starter.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission supports.
* Remove the bolts securing the torque converter to the engine flywheel.
*Use a torque converter puller to remove the torque converter from the transmission.
* Raise the transmission using a lift or transmission jack.
* Remove the remaining bolts securing the transmission to the engine.
* Carefully remove the transmission from the vehicle.

3. Installation of a new automatic transmission

* Clean the interface between the engine and transmission.
* Install a new gasket on the transmission oil pan.
* Place the gearbox on the engine and secure it with bolts.
* Install the torque converter and secure with bolts.
* Connect the shift cables.
* Connect the starter.
* Connect the electrical wiring connector to the gearbox.
* Fill in new automatic transmission oil through the filler plug.

4. Check and refuel

* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Shift the gearshift lever to all positions and check for noise or vibration.
* Check the automatic transmission fluid level and add if necessary.

5. Final check

* Drive the car for several kilometers and check the operation of the gearbox.
* Repair any faults or leaks.
* Install the battery.
