Truck electrician diagnostician

Responsibilities:

* Diagnose and troubleshoot truck electrical systems, including engines, lighting, electronics and control systems.
* Identify and repair faulty wires, connectors and components.
* Use diagnostic equipment and software to determine the source of problems.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
* Interaction with mechanics and other technical specialists.
* Work on various makes and models of trucks.

Qualification:

* Experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems of trucks.
* Knowledge of electrical power systems, lighting, electronics and controls of trucks.
* Experience with diagnostic equipment and software.
*Strong troubleshooting skills.
* Good understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

* Diploma of completion of a technical school or technical school in electrical engineering or a related specialty.
*Certification in diagnostics and repair of truck electrical systems preferred.
* Knowledge of electrical diagrams and documentation for truck maintenance.
* Ability to work in a team and independently.

Skills:

* Practical skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems.
* Knowledge of various troubleshooting techniques and equipment.
* Strong soldering and power tool skills.
* Experience with computer systems and diagnostic software.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

Working conditions:

*Full time or shift work.
*May be required to work in a workshop environment, outdoors or at height.
* Severe conditions requiring physical exertion and prolonged standing.
*Must have a truck driver’s license (if required).
