Tools and materials:

* Wrench set
* Flat head screwdriver
* Phillips head screwdriver
* 10 mm socket wrench
* 13 mm socket wrench
* Transmission fluid drain key
* New automatic transmission rear oil seal
* Transmission fluid
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (if required)

Procedure:

1. Preparation:

* Disconnect the battery.
* Raise the car and place it on stands.

2. Draining transmission fluid:

* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan.
* Place a container under the drain plug to catch the liquid.
* Loosen the drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.

3. Removing the automatic transmission pan:

* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan.
* Carefully separate the automatic transmission pan from the automatic transmission housing.
* Remove the old pan gasket (if necessary).

4. Removing the automatic transmission rear oil seal:

* Locate the automatic transmission rear oil seal on the automatic transmission housing.
*Use a flat head screwdriver to carefully remove the old oil seal.

5. Installing a new oil seal:

* Lightly coat the inside diameter of the new oil seal with transmission fluid.
* Insert a new oil seal into the automatic transmission housing.
* Make sure the oil seal is fully installed.

6. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Install a new automatic transmission pan gasket onto the pan.
* Attach the automatic transmission pan to the automatic transmission housing.
* Tighten the bolts.

7. Filling transmission fluid:

* Locate the filler plug on the automatic transmission housing.
*Use a funnel to add new transmission fluid.
*Add the amount of fluid specified in the vehicle’s owner’s manual.

8. Checking the fluid level:

* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
* Shift all gears one at a time.
* Stop the engine and check the fluid level using the dipstick.
*Add liquid if necessary.

9. Final assembly:

* Connect the battery.
* Remove the vehicle from the stands.

Adviсe:

* Do not use a hammer or other sharp objects to remove the old oil seal.
* Clean the automatic transmission housing and all parts before installing a new oil seal.
* Replace the automatic transmission filter if necessary.
* After replacing the oil seal, drive the first few kilometers at low speeds.
