Tools and materials:

* New outboard bearing
* Keys or sockets for 13, 16, 18 and 21 mm
* Mount
* Jack
* Car stands
* Lubricant for spline connection
* Brake or carburetor cleaner
* Protective gloves

Procedure:

1. Raise the car and place it on stands. Make sure the vehicle is securely secured.
2. Remove the engine crankcase protection.
3. Loosen the bolts securing the propeller shaft to the outboard bearing. Do not unscrew the bolts completely.
4. Using a pry bar, carefully remove the driveshaft from the outboard bearing. Make sure the shaft does not fall to the ground.
5. Unscrew the bolts securing the suspension bearing to the vehicle frame. Remove the old bearing.
6. Clean the outboard bearing seat on the frame. Use brake or carburetor cleaner.
7. Apply some grease to the spline of the new outboard bearing.
8. Install the new suspension bearing onto the vehicle frame. Tighten the mounting bolts.
9. Connect the driveshaft to the outboard bearing. Tighten the mounting bolts.
10. Reinstall the engine crankcase protection.
11. Lower the vehicle to the ground.

Adviсe:

* Do not over-tighten the propeller shaft and outboard bearing bolts. This may damage the shaft or bearing.
* Use a new outboard bearing. Reusing an old bearing may shorten the life of the new driveshaft.
*If the driveshaft is not balanced correctly, it may cause the vehicle to vibrate.
* Check the automatic transmission oil level after replacing the outboard bearing.
