Tools and materials:

* Throttle body cleaner
* Ignition key
* Brake pedal
*Gas pedal

Automatic transmission adaptation procedure:

1. Warm up the engine: Start the engine and let it idle for about 5 minutes. Wait until operating temperature is reached.
2. Turn off the engine: Stop the engine and wait 1 minute.
3. Turn the ignition on: Turn the ignition key to the ON position, but do not start the engine.
4. Press the brake pedal: Press and hold the brake pedal.
5. Press the gas pedal all the way down: Press the gas pedal to the floor for 20 seconds.
6. Release the gas pedal: Release the gas pedal after 20 seconds.
7. Start the engine: Press the engine start button.
8. Hold the brake pedal: Continue holding the brake pedal for another 20 seconds.
9. Release the brake pedal: Release the brake pedal after 20 seconds.
10. Switch the automatic transmission selector to Drive mode: Switch the automatic transmission selector to the Drive position.
11. Drive the car at a slow speed for 5 minutes: Drive the car at a slow speed (5-10 km/h) for 5 minutes to allow the transmission to adapt.

Notes:

* If the procedure is successful, you will experience smoother gear shifting.
*If any problems arise during the procedure, contact your auto mechanic for further diagnosis.
* It is recommended to adapt the automatic transmission every 2-3 years, as well as after a major overhaul of the gearbox or if you notice problems with gear shifting.
