Cardan

* Transmits torque from the gearbox (manual or automatic transmission) to the rear axle.
* Consists of a shaft with joints at both ends, known as universal joints.
* Provides a flexible connection, allowing the transmission to rotate at different angles.

Manual transmission (Manual transmission)

* Allows the driver to manually change gears.
*Consists of a set of gears that can mesh in different combinations to produce different gear ratios.
* Typically has 5 to 8 speeds.
* Provides greater control of the vehicle and can be more efficient than an automatic transmission.

Automatic transmission (Automatic transmission)

* Automatically changes gears based on sensor data.
* Consists of a planetary gearbox and a torque converter.
* The torque converter acts as a clutch and converts engine torque and speed.
* More convenient to drive than a manual transmission, but may be less efficient.

The main differences between the cardan, manual transmission and automatic transmission:

* Function: The cardan transmits torque, the manual transmission allows manual gear shifting, and the automatic transmission automatically shifts gears.
* Device: The cardan has a propeller shaft, the manual transmission has gears, and the automatic transmission has a planetary gearbox and a torque converter.
* Control: The cardan does not require control, the manual transmission is controlled manually by the driver, and the automatic transmission is controlled automatically by sensors.
* Efficiency: A manual transmission can be more efficient than an automatic transmission.
* Convenience: Automatic transmission is more convenient to operate than manual transmission.
