Materials:

* Tool kit for automatic transmission repair
* Container for draining transmission fluid
* New o-rings for valve body
* Rags

Instructions:

1. Preparing and draining transmission fluid:

* Raise and secure the vehicle on a lift or with stands.
* Locate the transmission pan and drain the transmission fluid into a prepared container.
* Unscrew the pan bolts and remove it.

2. Removing the valve body:

* Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve body.
* Remove the bolts securing the valve body to the automatic transmission housing.
* Carefully remove the hydraulic unit.

3. Replacing O-rings:

* Inspect the O-rings on the valve body. If they are damaged or look worn, they need to be replaced.
* Apply a small amount of transmission fluid to the new O-rings and install them in place.

4. Installation of the hydraulic unit:

* Insert the valve body into place and tighten the mounting bolts.
* Connect the electrical connector.

5. Installing the transmission pan:

* Install the transmission pan and tighten the mounting bolts.

6. Filling with transmission fluid:

* Fill the transmission with new transmission fluid.
* Check the fluid level using the dipstick and add fluid if necessary.

7. Starting the engine:

* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
* Shift the gear selector to all positions and return to the park position.

8. Leak check:

* Check under the car for transmission fluid leaks. If necessary, tighten the bolts and tighten the connections.

Adviсe:

* When working on the valve body, be especially careful not to damage internal components.
*Use only high quality O-rings and transmission fluid.
* If necessary, also replace the automatic transmission filter.
*If you are unsure of your skills, have the valve body removed by a qualified mechanic.
