Required materials:

* New automatic transmission oil filter
* O-ring for automatic transmission oil filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (optional)
*Multi-purpose lubricant

Tools:

* Set of keys
* Flat head screwdriver
* Oil drain container
* Funnel

Replacement process:

1. Preparation:

* Park the car on a level surface.
* Turn off the engine and let it cool.
* Gather the necessary materials and tools.

2. Draining transmission oil:

* Find the automatic transmission pan and remove the drain plug using a wrench.
* Drain the gear oil into a drain container.
* When the oil stops draining, screw the drain plug back in.

3. Removing the automatic transmission pan (optional):

* If you want to replace the automatic transmission pan gasket, you need to remove the pan.
* Loosen and remove the bolts securing the pan to the transmission.
* Carefully separate the pan from the transmission using a flathead screwdriver.
* Remove the old gasket and clean the surfaces of the pan and transmission.

4. Replacing the automatic transmission oil filter:

*Locate the automatic transmission oil filter located on the side of the transmission.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the oil filter cover and remove the cover.
*Remove the old oil filter and discard it.
* Apply a thin coat of multi-purpose grease to the O-ring of the new oil filter.
* Insert the new oil filter into the cover and tighten the bolts.

5. Installing the automatic transmission pan (optional):

* If you removed the automatic transmission pan, install a new gasket and screw the pan into place.
*Tighten bolts to specifications.

6. Filling with transmission oil:

*Locate the filler hole on the side of the transmission.
* Insert a funnel into the filler hole and fill in new gear oil according to the recommended volume.
* Check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil as needed.

7. Completion:

* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new transmission oil through the system.
* Check the oil level again and add if necessary.
* Clean all plugs and surfaces and discard used oil and filter.

Notes:

* Regularly change the automatic transmission oil filter in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Use only approved gear oil for your vehicle’s automatic transmission.
*Be sure to tighten all bolts and plugs to specifications.
*If you are unsure of your skills, seek assistance from a qualified mechanic.
