Auto electricians for trucks
Responsibilities:
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical systems of trucks
* Installation, repair and replacement of electronic components such as starters, alternators, wiring harnesses
* Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to prevent failures
* Reading electrical diagrams and vehicle documentation
* Testing and troubleshooting electronic modules and sensors
* Detection and elimination of short circuits, open circuits and other electrical faults
Requirements:
* Diploma in Automotive Electrical or related field
*Minimum 2 years of truck operating experience
* Knowledge of electronic systems and circuits
* Ability to read and interpret maintenance and repair manuals
* Skills in operating diagnostic equipment such as scanners and oscilloscopes
* Ability to work both independently and in a team
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Driver’s license and driving experience
Additional skills:
* Knowledge of navigation and tracking systems
* Knowledge of lighting and security systems
* Knowledge of electrical safety standards and requirements
* Ability to work under time pressure and pressure
Required License or Certification:
* Truck Operator License (in some jurisdictions)
* Certificates for working with electrical equipment
