*P (Park): Locks the transmission and holds the vehicle in place.
* R (Reverse): Turns the wheels in the reverse direction.
* N (Neutral): Turns off the transmission, allowing the vehicle to roll freely.
*D (Drive): The most common gear used for everyday driving.
* S (Sport): Increases engine speed in higher gears for better performance.
*L (Low Gear): Used for severe driving conditions such as lifting or towing.
Usage:
1. Starting the engine: Depress the brake pedal and turn the key to the start position.
2. Shifting gears: While the brake pedal is depressed, move the control lever to the desired position.
3. Release the brake pedal: Release the brake pedal and the vehicle will start moving in the selected gear.
4. Acceleration: Press the accelerator pedal to increase speed.
5. Braking: Press the brake pedal to slow down or stop.
6. Shifting: If you need to shift to another gear while driving, depress the brake pedal and move the control lever to the desired position.
7. Parking the vehicle: When stopped, move the control lever to position P and remove the key from the ignition.
Adviсe:
* Always depress the brake pedal before changing gears.
* Avoid shifting to neutral while driving.
*Use L gear only when additional engine braking is required, such as when descending a steep slope.
* To increase transmission life, perform regular maintenance.
