Chevrolet Cruze automatic transmission drive oil seals
Automatic transmission drive oil seals are designed to prevent transmission fluid from leaking from the gearbox to the connection points with the drive shafts. Chevrolet Cruze with automatic transmission uses two types of drive seals:
Front right drive oil seal (driver’s side)

*Dimensions: 34mm inner diameter, 50mm outer diameter, 7mm thickness
Rear left drive oil seal (passenger side)
* Part number: GM 24254316
*Material: rubber with metal frame
*Dimensions: 26mm inner diameter, 42mm outer diameter, 7mm thickness
Signs of malfunction of automatic transmission drive oil seals
*Transmission fluid leaks around drive shafts
* Reduced fluid level in automatic transmission
* Burnt oil smell
* Jerking or vibration when shifting gears

Replacing automatic transmission drive oil seals requires special tools and skills. It is recommended that you contact a service station to have this work performed.
