Reset adaptation of automatic transmission Hyundai Solaris 6-speed

Materials:

* OBD-II scanner
*laptop or tablet with diagnostic software

Procedure:

1. Connect to the car

* Connect the OBD-II scanner to the vehicle’s diagnostic connector.
* Establish a connection between the scanner and your laptop or tablet.
*Run the diagnostic software and establish a connection with the vehicle’s ECU.

2. Identify the automatic transmission

* Go to the “Transmission” or “Automatic Transmission” section in the software.
* Select “Identification” or “Control Unit Information”.
* Make sure the 6-speed automatic transmission is identified.

3. Reset adaptation

* Go to the “Adaptations” or “Special Features” section.
* Find the function “Reset automatic transmission adaptations” or similar.
* Select function and confirm reset.

4. Checking the automatic transmission

*After the reset is complete, let the vehicle idle for a while.
* Check the vehicle for any gear shifting problems.
