Electricians for cars
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle electrical system problems including starter, alternator, battery, lighting and wiring.
* Installation and repair of electronic systems such as engine management systems, ignition systems and security systems.
* Reading electrical diagrams and using diagnostic equipment to identify problems.
* Replace faulty electrical components and perform routine electrical system maintenance.
* Ensuring compliance with all safety rules when working with electrical equipment.
Skills and qualifications:
* Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronics principles.
* Experience working with electrical systems in automobiles.
* Understanding of electrical diagrams and repair manuals.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Skills in operating power tools, including voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
* Knowledge of and compliance with safety regulations when working with electrical equipment.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Education and certificates:
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
* ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification in Automotive Electrical.
*Additional certifications and training in specific electronic systems are preferred.
