Car alarm electrician
Responsibilities:
* Installation, maintenance and repair of car alarm systems
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of vehicle electrical systems related to alarms
* Programming and configuration of alarm control units
* Connecting additional devices such as motion sensors, shock sensors and autostart systems
* Collaborate with other mechanics and electricians to troubleshoot vehicle related problems
Requirements:
* Technical education in electronics or related field is required
* Understanding of vehicle electrical systems and alarm systems
* Good soldering, wire handling, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of various makes and models of alarm systems and vehicles
* License to work with electricity (in some regions)
* Physical endurance and ability to work in tight spaces
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
* Knowledge of vehicle wiring diagrams
* Experience with CAN buses and other automotive communication protocols
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and reference books
* Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles
Additional information:
