Car repair electrician
Responsibilities:
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems of automobiles
* Installation, replacement and repair of wiring, fuses, relays, batteries and other electrical components
* Repair of starters, generators and other electromechanical devices
* Testing and adjustment of electronic systems such as fuel injection systems, ignition systems and lighting systems
* Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
*Service and repair of hybrid and electric vehicles
* Collaborate with other mechanics to provide comprehensive vehicle repairs
Requirements:
*High school diploma or equivalent
* Courses or certificates in electrical engineering or automotive repair
* Knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering principles and automotive systems
* Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment
*Problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Mechanic License or Certification depending on state requirements
