* Immediately notify your immediate or superior manager about any situation that threatens the life and health of people, about every accident that occurs at work, or about a deterioration in your health.
* Undergo mandatory medical examinations and first aid training.
* Know and comply with fire safety requirements, be able to use primary fire extinguishing equipment.
Requirements for production equipment and workplace
* Equipment used in the work must be equipped with devices for protection against electric shock, and must also be in good condition and have appropriate documents confirming its safe operation.
* The workplace of a car electrical repair mechanic must be well lit, have sufficient space for free movement and be equipped with local air removal.
* The room in which work is carried out must be equipped with supply and exhaust ventilation.
* All insulated parts of electrical installations that are live must be covered with protective covers or fences.
* Fire extinguishing equipment must be provided at work sites.
Requirements for the use of personal protective equipment
* The mechanic must use personal protective equipment:
* cotton robe or suit made of mixed fabric
* electrically insulating gloves

* protective helmet
* respirator when working in dusty conditions

* Before starting work, check the serviceability of electrical equipment, power tools, and personal protective equipment.
* Inspect the work site and clear it of foreign objects.
* Monitor the serviceability of the electrical network and protective grounding.
* When working with live electrical equipment, use tested and marked tools with insulated handles.
* When working with acids and alkalis, take precautions, use protective equipment and special clothing.
* To avoid falling from heights, use ladders and stepladders that have been tested for strength and stability.
* When working with aggressive liquids (acids, alkalis), use appropriate protective equipment.
* If a malfunction is detected in the operation of the equipment, it is necessary to stop it and report it to management.
* After finishing work, you should tidy up the workplace, disconnect electrical equipment from the network, remove tools and accessories.
