Responsibilities:
* Diagnostics and repair of faults in electrical systems of cars
* Installation, maintenance and repair of electronic components such as on-board computers, sensors and lighting systems
* Installation and maintenance of battery systems
* Testing and troubleshooting wiring
* Identify and troubleshoot problems with radios, navigation systems and other audio equipment
* Checking and adjusting starters, generators and other electronic components
* Recommendations for maintenance and prevention of electrical systems
*Provide excellent customer service and help resolve complaints
* Compliance with all safety precautions and industry standards
Qualification:
* Secondary specialized or higher education in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
*Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an auto electrician
* Deep understanding of the operating principles of automotive electrical systems
*Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of electronic components and circuits
* Confident use of electrical measuring equipment
* Soldering and wiring skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Keep up to date with new technologies and best practices in the field of auto electrical
*Certification in Auto Electrical Engineering preferred.
Preferences:
* Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
* Skills in using specialized diagnostic equipment
* Knowledge of European and Japanese cars
* Understanding of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)
