Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive maintenance and repair of electrical equipment of machines, including electric motors, generators, lighting and control devices
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, use diagnostic tools and testers
* Installation and replacement of electrical components such as cables, connectors, relays and fuses
* Testing and adjusting electrical parameters to ensure optimal machine performance
* Compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
* Working with live electrical equipment
* Maintaining logs of maintenance and repair work
* Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace
* Communication with mechanics and machine operators on maintenance and repair issues
Requirements:
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Certificate or certificate in the specialty of electrician or electrical engineering
* Experience as a machine maintenance electrician or similar position
* Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
* Skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems
* Soldering and electrical installation skills
* Physical endurance and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Good communication and organizational skills
*Experience in heavy industry is desirable
