Required materials:
* Washing machine
* Electrical cable (3-wire, cross-section not less than 2.5 mm?)
* Washing machine socket (16 amp)
* Screwdriver with electrical insulation
* Side cutters
* Electrical tape
Connection order:
1. Preparation:
* Disconnect the power supply to the area where the washing machine will be installed.
* Unpack your washing machine and make sure that all necessary components are included in the package, including the drain hose, inlet hose and electrical cord.
2. Installation of the socket:
* Determine a location for the outlet. It should be located at a height of about 1 meter above the floor, in close proximity to the washing machine.
*Drill a hole with a diameter of about 70mm for the socket mounting box.
* Install the mounting box and secure it with screws.
* Connect the wires to the outlet, observing the correct polarity:
* Brown wire (phase) – input contact marked “L”
* Blue wire (zero) – input contact marked “N”
* Yellow-green wire (ground) – contact marked “PE”
* Secure the socket in the installation box with screws.
3. Connecting the washing machine:
* Unwind the electrical cable of the washing machine and align it.
* Cut the cable to the required length, leaving enough margin for connection.
* Remove the outer insulation of the cable by 10-15 cm.
* Divide the wires into separate wires and strip their ends by 1-2 cm.
* Connect the wires to the terminal block of the washing machine, observing the correct polarity:
* Brown wire (phase) – to the terminal marked “L”
* Blue wire (zero) – to the terminal marked “N”
*Yellow-green wire (ground) – to the terminal marked “PE” (usually green or yellow)
* Tighten the terminal screws on the terminal block to securely secure the wires.
4. Check and enable:
* Turn on the power.
* Check the operation of the washing machine by running a test cycle without loading laundry.
* Make sure all connections are secure and that the washing machine is working properly.
Safety Tips:
* Make sure you are using the correct materials and equipment.
* Carry out all work in compliance with safety regulations.
*If you are not experienced in electrical work, contact a qualified electrician.
