Automatic transmission noise insulation

Sound insulation of an automatic transmission (automatic transmission) is a set of measures aimed at reducing noise, vibration and hum emanating from the automatic transmission while the car engine is running.

Sources of noise and vibration in automatic transmission:

* Hydraulic block
* Planetary gears
* Shafts
* Couplings

Measures for automatic transmission noise insulation:

* Installation of soundproofing materials: Soundproofing materials, such as felt mats or bitumen-polymer sheets, are installed on the automatic transmission housing and pan to absorb noise and vibration.
* Use of sponges and gaskets: Sponges and gaskets made of rubber or polyurethane are installed between automatic transmission components to dampen vibrations and prevent their transfer to other parts of the car.
* Automatic transmission pan modification: Installing an additional soundproofing layer on the automatic transmission pan can significantly reduce the noise created by vibration of the pan.
* Improved joint seals: Seals and gaskets between automatic transmission components must be in good condition to prevent leaks and prevent noise and vibration from escaping.
* Installing Additional Sound Insulators: Additional sound insulators, such as exhaust mufflers or torsional shock absorbers, can help reduce noise transmitted from the automatic transmission to the engine or other parts of the vehicle.
