*Trailer fork
*Trailer electrical harness
* Tools (adjustable wrench, screwdriver, pliers)

Steps:

1. Preparing the car:

*Locate the trailer socket on the rear of the vehicle.
* Clean the outlet from dirt and debris.

2. Preparation of the trailer:

*Locate the plug on the trailer.
* Clean the fork of dirt and debris.

3. Electrical connection:

* Align the notches on the plug with the tabs on the outlet and insert the plug into the outlet.
* Tighten the plug with an adjustable wrench for a secure connection.

4. Service check:

* Turn on your car’s headlights or turn signals.
*Make sure your trailer’s lights and turn signals are also working.

5. Ground connection:

*Some trailers have a separate ground wire.
*Connect the trailer ground wire to the ground pin on the vehicle (usually located under the body).

6. Unwinding the electrical harness:

* Unwind the trailer electrical harness and route it from the trailer to the vehicle.
* Secure the tourniquet using clamps or ties.

7. Checking the correct connection:

* Turn on your vehicle’s headlights and turn signals again.
* Make sure all lights and turn signals on the trailer are working properly.

8. Trailer attachment:

* Connect the trailer hitch to the vehicle’s hitch hook.
* Secure the trailer with a safety chain or cable.
