Materials:

* Multimeter
* Power cord with alligator clips
* Wires with insulation and lugs

Methodology:

1. Preparation:

* Disconnect the battery by removing the negative terminal clamp.
* Identify the vehicle’s electrical circuit for inspection.

2. Voltage check:

*Connect the red clamp of the multimeter to the positive terminal of the battery and the black clamp to the negative terminal.
* Set the multimeter to DC voltage mode.
* Check the battery for voltage. It should be around 12-13 volts.

3. Grounding check:

*Connect the red clamp of the multimeter to the positive terminal of the battery.
* Connect the black clamp to an unpainted metal part of the car (body or chassis).
*Check for resistance on the multimeter screen. It should be close to zero.

4. Wiring check:

*Connect the red clamp of the multimeter to the positive terminal of the battery.
*Connect the black clamp to one end of the wire you want to test.
*Connect the positive alligator clip of the power wire to the other end of the wire.
*Connect the negative alligator clip of the power cable to the vehicle body or chassis.
* Set the multimeter to resistance mode.
* Determine if the circuit is closed. The resistance should be close to zero.
*Check the wires one by one.

5. Checking fuses:

*Remove the fuse box and check the fuses using a multimeter.
* Set the multimeter to continuity mode and touch the fuse leads.
*If the fuse is good, the multimeter will beep.
* Replace blown fuses with fuses of the correct rating.

6. Reconnecting the battery:

* After completing the test, reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Adviсe:

*Use only a multimeter suitable for testing vehicle electrical systems.
* Observe safety precautions when working with electricity.
* Disconnect the battery only when the ignition is off.
*Consult a professional electrician if you find any problems that you cannot repair yourself.
