Stages of overhaul of automatic transmission

1. Diagnostics

* Visual inspection of the gearbox and surrounding components.
* Scan fault codes.
* Checking the level and condition of the transmission fluid.
* Test drive to evaluate the performance of the gearbox.

2. Removing the gearbox

* Disconnection from engine, transmission and other components.
* Removal from the vehicle.

3. Disassembly

* Disassemble the transmission into individual components, including housing, shafts, gears, differential and hydraulic unit.

4. Cleaning and inspection

* Clean all components from dirt and metal shavings.
* Inspect parts for wear, damage or cracks.

5. Replacement of worn parts

* Replace worn gears, bearings, seals and other components as necessary.

6. Assembly

* Reassemble the gearbox components in reverse order.
* Torque all bolts and nuts to manufacturer specifications.

7. Installation

* Installing the gearbox in the car.
* Connection to engine, transmission and other components.

8. Refilling with transmission fluid

* Filling the transmission with the correct type and amount of transmission fluid.

9. Testing

* Test drive to evaluate the performance of the repaired gearbox.
* Check for leaks and correct gear shifting.

10. Adjustment and calibration

* If necessary, adjust or calibrate the transmission to ensure optimal performance.

Additional Considerations

* It is important to use high quality parts and transmission fluid recommended by the manufacturer.
* Automatic transmission repairs must be performed by a qualified mechanic.
* After repairing the gearbox, it is necessary to run-in for 500-1000 km.
