Step 1: Make sure all systems are ready

* Check the fuel level and add if necessary.
* Check oil and coolant levels.
* Make sure all doors and trunk are closed.

Step 2: Press the brake pedal

* Press the brake pedal to engage the transmission lock and prevent the vehicle from accidentally moving.

Step 3: Insert the key and turn on the ignition

* Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ‘On’ position.
* Wait a few seconds for all vehicle systems to boot.

Step 4: Warm up the engine

*If the engine is cold, let it idle for a few minutes until it warms up.

Step 5: Move the gear shift lever to ‘P’ position

* Move the gear lever to the ‘Park’ position.

Step 6: Click the start button

*Press and hold the start button until the engine starts.
* Release the button when the engine starts running.

Step 7: Gear Selector

* Move the gear selector to the desired position (D – Drive, R – Reverse, etc.).

Step 8: Release the brake pedal

* After changing gear, release the brake pedal and the car will start moving.

Notes:

*Some diesel vehicles may have an additional ignition switch that is used to preheat the glow plugs before starting the engine.
*If the engine does not start, you may need to replace the battery or perform diagnostics.
*Always refer to your owner’s manual for specific instructions for your vehicle.
