Installation of an additional radiator for automatic transmission Suzuki Jimny

Required materials:

* Additional radiator for automatic transmission
* Cooling lines (hoses and fittings)
* Clamps
* Automatic transmission coolant
* Funnel
* Wrenches
* Screwdriver
* Thread sealant

Instructions:

1. Preparing the vehicle

* Turn off the engine and let it cool.
*Secure the vehicle using the parking brake.
* Raise the rear of the vehicle using jacks or a lift.

2. Removing the factory automatic transmission radiator

*Locate the factory automatic transmission cooler located under the vehicle’s underbody, next to the regular radiator.
* Disconnect the cooling lines and remove the radiator.
* Pour the coolant from the radiator into a suitable container.

3. Installation of an additional radiator

* Find a suitable location to install the additional radiator. Make sure it is in an area with good air flow.
* Install the optional radiator and secure it in place with bolts or clamps.

4. Connecting cooling lines

* Connect the cooling lines from the factory to the optional radiator.
* Tighten all fittings and clamps.
*Apply thread sealant to all fittings to prevent leaks.

5. Filling with coolant

* Using a funnel, pour new automatic transmission coolant into the radiator.
* Fill until liquid begins to flow out of the overflow hole.
* Install the radiator cap.

6. Check for leaks

* Start the engine and let it warm up.
* Check for leaks from cooling lines or radiators.
*If there are leaks, tighten fittings or clamps as necessary.

7. Collection and verification

* Install all vehicle components in reverse order.
* Lower the vehicle and check the operation of the automatic transmission.
* Make sure the automatic transmission temperature is within the normal range.

Important Tips:

* Use only automatic transmission coolant recommended by the manufacturer.
* Be careful when tightening fittings to avoid damaging the threads.
*If you are unsure of your skills, have a qualified mechanic install it.
* Check the coolant level and condition of the auxiliary radiator regularly.
