Robot’ gearbox control

1. Gear selector control:

* To change gears, use the selector located on the center console or steering wheel.
* Pressing ‘+’ switches to a higher gear, and pressing ‘-‘ switches to a lower gear.
* To change to park position (P), press the button or pull the selector up.

2. Automatic mode:

* By default, the transmission is in automatic mode.
* The car’s electronics automatically change gears based on factors such as speed, engine load and gas pedal pressure.

3. Manual mode (if available):

* Some cars with a ‘robot’ transmission allow you to change gears manually.
* Move the selector to ‘M’ or use the steering wheel paddle shifters to change gears.

4. Switching to neutral:

* To shift the transmission into neutral (N), release the accelerator pedal and press the ‘N’ button on the selector or the steering wheel paddles.

5. Pulling off:

* To drive away, press the brake pedal and move the selector to position ‘D’ or ‘R’.
* Slowly release the brake pedal and the car will start moving.

6.Features:

* Robotic transmissions may experience a delay when shifting gears, especially when operating in manual mode.
*They may also jerk when changing gears, which is normal.
* Some models have sport or economy modes that change gear shift patterns.

Adviсe:

* When parking the vehicle, always place the selector lever in ‘P’ position and apply the parking brake.
* Do not manually change gears too often, especially in automatic driving mode.
*Service the transmission regularly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
