P (Parking)

* Locks the transmission to prevent vehicle movement.
* Recommended for use when parking on slopes or when parking for a long time.

R (Reverse)

*Puts the transmission into reverse mode.
*Used to move backwards.

N (Neutral)

* Disconnects the engine from the transmission.
* The car can roll freely.
*Used when towing or for short stops without having to turn off the engine.

D (Drive)

* Basic driving mode.
* Automatically changes gears based on driving conditions.

L (Low)

*Used to increase traction when driving uphill, towing or on slippery roads.
* Fixes the transmission in lower gears.

O/D (Overdrive)

* Activates overdrive mode, which reduces engine speed at high speeds.

S/+ (Sport)

*Holds gears at higher rpm for faster acceleration and responsive handling.

-/(Minus)

* Allows you to manually change gears.
* Push the lever forward to downshift and back to upshift.
