* Connecting hoses of suitable diameter

* Drain pan or bucket
Steps:
1. Draining the coolant from the automatic transmission
* Place the car on a level surface.
* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission housing.
* Place a drain pan or bucket under the plug.
* Unscrew the drain plug and drain the coolant.
* Screw the drain plug back into place.
2. Removing an existing connection
* Locate the connecting hoses connecting the automatic transmission to the engine cooling radiator.
* Loosen the hose clamps using pliers.
* Disconnect the hoses from the automatic transmission and radiator.
3. Establishing new connections
* Take new connecting hoses and attach them to the fittings on the automatic transmission and radiator.
* Tighten the hose clamps.
* Make sure connections are tight.
4. Filling automatic transmission coolant
* Locate the filler plug on the automatic transmission housing.
* Remove the filler plug.
* Fill the automatic transmission with the appropriate type of coolant to the mark on the dipstick.
* Reinstall the filler plug.
5. Leak test
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Check connections for leaks.
* If you find a leak, tighten the hose clamps or replace the faulty hose.
6. Disposal of old coolant
* Dispose of drained automatic transmission coolant in accordance with local regulations.
